#TrinityStrong

Trinity has always had a firecracker personality. She's  a tremendous artist, with aspirations to study art in college. She's a strong willed and vibrant young lady that has a deep love for animals. Especially horses. She's been an avid horseback rider since she was 4. She has done everything from showing western pleasure to jumping to equestrian drill. She loves challenges and obstacles, both metaphoric and physical, as they give her git 'er done spirit an opportunity to shine through.

In July 2022, Trinity was in a UTV accident in which she lost the lower part of her dominant left arm. After 12.5 hours of surgery, the surgeon was able to save the 3 inches below the elbow, through a FLAP (replacement of skin and vasculature from the lower arm that was unsalvageable) in order to allow her the ability to obtain a prosthetic in the future. The skin graft on the lower side initially failed, but the FLAP has healed beautifully. Doctors are confident that she will be ready for her prosthetic in the next month or so.

Trinity has been tenacious and unstoppable since the accident. She is back in the saddle riding, learning dexterity with her right hand through painting, and refusing to let the loss of her arm stop her from enjoying her life. Attending football games Homecoming, celebrating her sweet 16th birthday by axe throwing, training horses and young riders, she hasn't lost an ounce of that spark that makes her a firecracker. Tell her she can't. She'll say watch me.

We were simply grateful that she lived through the accident, but she has taken this new chapter head on and made it an inspiration to all around her. Now we're grateful for how capable and strong she has turned out to be.
