Mini Code Day with the Sacramento Kings

Update:

ODS Kid Christopher attended the Sacramento Kings Code Day where he was able to learn the basics of coding and even go home with a brand new laptop!

“It felt welcoming and the volunteers were very helpful! Thank you Operation Dez Strong and the Sacramento Kings for inviting me to this event! And a big Thank you for the laptop so I can continue to work on coding in the future!” -Christopher

“It was pretty small group of kids. For us that's great! Everyone was very nice and the food was good. He created a video game. And has been working on it at home now too. Going into the event he didn't know what to expect and didn't know much about coding besides having a interest in it.” -Heidi (mom)

Special thank you to the Sacramento Kings for constantly supporting our cause!
